This spiky thick succulent plant is renowned for its health benefits, especially for its burn healing capabilities. The thick, prickly skin of the Aloe protects a gel-like tissue which stores water and contains vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids. Aloe can also be used as an antibacterial gel to kill germs as well as help acne and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Aloe vera plants are fairly low maintenance, they like bright sunny positions with a temperature no less than 55 degrees, allow the soil to dry out completely between watering’s and then drench the soil and allow to thoroughly drain.
