Curated by renowned planner Daisy Amodio Events, the evening brought together some of the most talented creatives in the capital’s luxury wedding industry for a truly unforgettable experience.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of panoramic city views, the showcase offered a glimpse into what modern luxury weddings can become when visionary design, expert planning, and immersive styling come together. For Wildabout, it was an opportunity to create a floral environment that not only complemented the elegance of the venue but also elevated the atmosphere of the entire event.
Wildabout was entrusted with designing the complete floral décor for the ceremony and reception spaces, crafting a sophisticated visual narrative through colour, texture, and movement.
The initial design centred around a refined palette of nude chocolate, cappuccino, beige, and soft cream tones, a warm and elegant composition that echoed the luxurious interiors of Shangri-La London while allowing the florals to feel both contemporary and timeless. These tonal layers created a sense of understated luxury, where each arrangement worked in harmony with the surrounding styling and décor.

As the evening transitioned into celebration, the design evolved dramatically. The after-party space embraced deeper tonal reds, introducing a richer, more seductive colour story that shifted the mood from serene ceremony to vibrant late-night celebration. This thoughtful progression of colour allowed the event to feel immersive and dynamic, mirroring the natural flow of a wedding day from romance to revelry.
One of the most distinctive elements of the installation was the interplay between florals and textiles.
For this showcase, Wildabout explored the relationship between soft botanical forms and delicate fabrics, weaving organza through the floral designs to create a layered visual effect. Rather than treating flowers and draping as separate decorative elements, the two were designed to work together as a continuous artistic expression.
The organza threaded through the arrangements added lightness and movement, catching the light of the venue’s glass walls and reflecting the golden glow of the city at dusk.
