High above the London skyline, one of the season’s most extraordinary wedding showcases unfolded at the iconic Shangri-La London. Curated by renowned planner Daisy Amodio Events, the evening brought together some of the most talented creatives in the capital’s luxury wedding industry for a truly unforgettable experience.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of panoramic city views, the showcase offered a glimpse into what modern luxury weddings can become when visionary design, expert planning, and immersive styling come together. For Wildabout, it was an opportunity to create a floral environment that not only complemented the elegance of the venue but also elevated the atmosphere of the entire event.
Wildabout was entrusted with designing the complete floral décor for the ceremony and reception spaces, crafting a sophisticated visual narrative through colour, texture, and movement.

The initial design centred around a refined palette of nude chocolate, cappuccino, beige, and soft cream tones, a warm and elegant composition that echoed the luxurious interiors of Shangri-La London while allowing the florals to feel both contemporary and timeless. These tonal layers created a sense of understated luxury, where each arrangement worked in harmony with the surrounding styling and décor.

As the evening transitioned into celebration, the design evolved dramatically. The after-party space embraced deeper tonal reds, introducing a richer, more seductive colour story that shifted the mood from serene ceremony to vibrant late-night celebration. This thoughtful progression of colour allowed the event to feel immersive and dynamic, mirroring the natural flow of a wedding day from romance to revelry.
One of the most distinctive elements of the installation was the interplay between florals and textiles.
For this showcase, Wildabout explored the relationship between soft botanical forms and delicate fabrics, weaving organza through the floral designs to create a layered visual effect. Rather than treating flowers and draping as separate decorative elements, the two were designed to work together as a continuous artistic expression.

The organza threaded through the arrangements added lightness and movement, catching the light of the venue’s glass walls and reflecting the golden glow of the city at dusk. As guests moved through the space, the combination of florals and fabric created a fluid, sculptural installation that felt both romantic and architectural.

This seamless integration of materials helped build a cohesive design language across the ceremony and reception areas, ensuring that every element, from tablescapes to larger installations, felt intentionally connected.

Wildabout collaborated with De Silva Collections to achieve the intricate fabric integration within the arrangements. Their expertise in draping and textile design allowed the florals to become part of the overall spatial composition rather than simply decorative accents.

Luxury weddings today are about far more than beautiful flowers, they are about creating environments that transport guests into a fully curated experience.
Wildabout’s installation at Shangri-La London was designed with this philosophy in mind. Every arrangement, every fabric detail, and every tonal shift was carefully considered to contribute to a larger atmosphere of elegance and emotion.

From the ceremony setting to the reception and after-party transformation, the florals played a central role in shaping the energy of each moment. Soft neutral blooms invited calm and romance during the earlier part of the evening, while the deeper red tones later introduced drama and excitement as the celebration continued.

This layered approach to design reflects Wildabout’s broader philosophy: floral artistry should not simply decorate a space, it should enhance how people experience it. Through thoughtful design and meticulous attention to detail, flowers can become part of the storytelling of an event.

Wildabout is known for working across luxury weddings, high-end events, and brand installations, bringing the same level of creativity and craftsmanship to each project. Whether designing for an intimate private celebration or a large-scale showcase, the goal is always the same: to create florals that feel immersive, memorable, and beautifully integrated with the environment.
Beyond the breathtaking décor, the evening also served as a celebration of collaboration within the luxury wedding world.
The showcase gathered an exceptional group of suppliers, designers, and planners, each contributing their expertise to create a seamless and inspiring event. Together, they demonstrated how the combined talents of London’s wedding industry can transform a venue into something truly extraordinary.
Wildabout extends heartfelt thanks to Daisy Amodio Events for curating such a remarkable showcase and to all the creative partners who helped bring the evening to life.
Events like this not only highlight the artistry behind luxury weddings but also set the tone for what is possible in the seasons ahead.
And with London’s skyline as the backdrop, the message was clear: when design, creativity, and collaboration align, wedding experiences can truly reach new heights.
