What do you get when you combine sun-drenched beaches, a global beauty brand, and some of the most iconic venues in Ibiza? A floral fantasy brought to life by the Wildabout team.
In May, while one half of our studio was knee-deep in roses for Chelsea in Bloom and Belgravia in Bloom back in London, the other half jetted off to the Balearics for a very special project: a 3-day immersive brand event for none other than Maybelline New York.
Partnering with creative event visionaries Savile Rose and Made Up Events, our brief was to elevate every moment of the experience with fresh, joyful florals that matched both the setting and the spirit of the brand.
Let’s just say, Ibiza delivered. And so did we.
From editorial beauty moments to content-worthy backdrops, each day of the Maybelline activation brought a new venue, a new vibe, and a new opportunity to transform spaces with flowers.
Located on the island’s northeastern coast, Bless Hotel Ibiza set the tone for luxury. Overlooking the sea and filled with contemporary style, the space called for floral arrangements that were polished yet playful.
We incorporated colour in bold pinks, flattering palettes to complement Maybelline’s product launches, never overwhelming the space, but always commanding attention. Florals framed key guest moments, from welcome drinks to product unveilings, with a breezy Mediterranean elegance.
A little further inland, the aesthetic turned organic and rustic-chic. At Atzaró Beach, we leaned into Ibiza’s natural textures and tones.
Think abundant blooms adoring beautiful tablescapes and tactile details that guests couldn’t help but stop and photograph. It was a chance to play with contrast, bringing pops of purple and to a stunning and picturesque backdrop.
To wrap the event in style, Beso Beach was the ultimate exclamation mark. This glamorous beach club is a favourite for its party-meets-luxury vibe, and the florals followed suit.
Soft yellow hues and unapologetically chic, our designs added a freshness of colour to the interiors.
Working with a global beauty brand like Maybelline is more than just colour matching. It’s about understanding brand identity, guest flow, visual storytelling, and social-first design.
For this project, we designed with content in mind. Every stem was placed to frame a photo, guide a camera shot, or elevate the brand’s social moments, with florals that spoke both to Maybelline’s trendsetting energy and Ibiza’s iconic setting.
Whether on sandy shores or five-star rooftops, we ensured every installation had longevity in the heat, flexibility for movement between venues, and wow-factor on arrival.
