When it comes to unforgettable city weddings, it doesn’t get more iconic than this. Set against the world-famous backdrop of Tower Bridge, this luxury summer celebration was a masterclass in contemporary elegance, and we were delighted to provide the floral artistry that brought it to life.
Planned and styled to perfection by the ever-talented Whitepaper Event, this wedding unfolded within the historic grandeur of Old Billingsgate, a venue known for its sweeping Thames views and its versatility as a blank canvas for exceptional events.
As luxury florists, we had the joy of designing across multiple moments of the day, each space offering a new opportunity to reflect the couple’s vision: modern romance, elevated styling, and a sense of place that could only be London in summer.
Framing a love story against one of London’s most recognisable landmarks? Yes, please. From the ceremony to the celebration, the presence of Tower Bridge added an almost cinematic quality to the day, something we echoed with florals designed to soften the industrial edges of the venue while honouring its dramatic architecture.
We created statement floral moments throughout the space, from elegant entrance arrangements that greeted guests, to bespoke timeless chuppah that added scale and atmosphere to the reception. Soft whites, fresh greens, and subtle pops of colour combined to create an effortlessly chic palette that complemented both the riverside setting and the couple’s modern aesthetic.
Behind the scenes, a world-class team worked in seamless harmony to deliver a wedding experience that was polished, personal, and full of joy. The venue transformation was orchestrated by the brilliant Simon Cowen Productions while Barker Evans captured the day’s emotional details with their signature documentary flair.
Guests were treated to culinary artistry by the renowned Tony Page while beauty and bridal styling came courtesy of experts Natsha Bridal make up, Hair by Talia and Cocostylist. Every detail from lighting to linens, hair to hors d'oeuvres reflected the calibre of collaboration it takes to make a celebration of this level feel both effortless and extraordinary.
